From the latex ofEuphorbia pulcherrima, a new conjugated trienoic fatty acid was isolated and identified as deca‐trans‐2,trans‐4,cis‐6‐trienoic acid. Four other isomers of this acid were also present as minor components. The acids were esterified with trieterpenols.
