To account for possible underreporting in 2019 and provide reliable information on interventional cardiology procedures across Poland.
The 2019 ORPKI database report demonstrates a slight decrease in coronary angiographies and PCIs in Poland, alongside an increase in structural heart interventions and strong adherence to ESC guidelines regarding radial access and ticagrelor use.
This publication presents an analysis of individual procedural data from 153 interventional cardiology centers in Poland that have voluntarily joined the ORPKI database since 2004. To account for possible underreporting observed in 2019, AISN PTK makes every effort to correct for missing data and provide reliable information on interventional cardiology in Poland.
