A novel ultra‐wideband (UWB) antenna realized using low‐temperature co‐fired ceramic (LTCC) technology is reported in this paper. The resultant antenna volume is only 17 × 8 × 0.8 mm3. Based on the measurements using a network‐analyzer system, a bandwidth of 6.7 GHz is achieved (with return loss S11 < 10 dB from 3.75 to 10.45 GHz). The measured antenna radiation patterns at 6.85 GHz are also presented.
