The injection of a Bloch point, along a Néel line residing in a Bloch wall separating two magnetic domains, was monitored by direct line observation and careful control of the lines state. Injection was achieved by pushing selected lines into a region where the surface had been ion-implanted, resulting in a modification of the spins orientation along the line at surface level. The optical observation of lines relies on an anisotropic dark field imaging technique developed earlier. Direct confirmation of the micromagnetic picture of a Bloch point-containing line is obtained.
