The nearest-neighbor ± J X Y (plane rotator) spin glass in three dimensions is studied by means of a Monte Carlo simulation, with a focus on its chiral ordering. Finite-size scaling analysis indicates that the chiral-glass transition takes place at a finite temperature with the associated exponents ν c =1.5±0.3 and η c =-0.4±0.2, whereas the conventional spin-glass ordering occurs only at zero temperature. The obtained chiral-glass exponents are close to the spin-glass exponents of a three-dimensional Ising spin glass.
