Theoretical analysis demonstrates a universal decision framework incorporating contextual constraints, highlighting that decision outcomes depend on external feasibility alongside human bias.
AbstractDaniel Kahneman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics (2002) for his modelZwrong = ηwrong, attributing wrong outcomes Z to biased human decision η. We showthis model is incomplete. We propose the universal Zulfia equation:Z = η + ∆where ∆ denotes the table, context, market, or feasible set. We prove that:(i). Kahneman (2002) is the special case ∆ = 0,(ii). Hanson Invexity (1981) is the special case ∆ = η, and(iii). Khan-Hanson Ratio Non-Invexity (1987) is the special case η1̸ = η2.The central contribution is the Zulfia Compensation: Zright = ηright + ∆wrong canstill be correct. This replaces the η-centric blame model and provides an Einstein-likegeneralization of decision theory, analogous to E = mc2 generalizing F = ma.
