Densities (ρ), relative permittivities (ε), viscosities (η), and speeds of sound (u) at 298.15 K of binary mixtures of 2-methoxyethanol (1) + isobutylamine (2), are reported. From all those data, the excess molar volumes, and deviations from mole fraction additivity of the relative permittivity (Δε), viscosity (Δη), speed of sound (Δu), and isentropic compressibility (Δκ) have been calculated. The results for V E, Δε, Δln η, Δu, and Δκ are discussed on the basis of intermolecular interactions between the components of the analysed mixtures.
