The pyrimidinium‐4‐olates 1a–c combine with the butatrienes 2a–c to produce the 1:1‐cycloadducts 3a–c or 5d with 2,6‐diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane‐3,5‐dione constitution. The observed position‐ and regioselectivities are compared with results of the FMO and PMO theory.
