A design of a Mossbauer drive with the use of bearings rather than springs is described. This new drive avoids the use of high gain feedback electronics required to reduce the inherent nonlinearity of systems using springs or diaphragms. The linearity of the new springless drive is determined from Mossbauer spectra of a pure iron foil.
