Electron capture by Li3+and Li2+ions in H2and He

Cross sections for single electron capture by Li 3+ and Li 2+ ions, sigma 3,2 and sigma 2,1 , in collision in H 2 molecules and He atoms have been measured in the energy range 8-38 keV. The cross sections obtained are consistent with published experimental results at higher energies.
