This two-part special issue of the Journal of Educational and Psychological Consultation highlights contemporary coaching research and practices in schools. Articles are grouped into two sections based on prominent themes: Section 1: Coaching Implementation, Adaptation, and Contextual Responsiveness and Section 2: Evaluating Coaching through the Lenses of Dosage, Fidelity, and Impact. In this introduction to Section 2 of the special issue, we summarize six articles that represent a range of research methodologies (randomized trials, multiple baseline design, scoping review, meta-analysis) and three overarching themes (Integration of Coaching, Equity, Culture and Social-Emotional Learning, Upstream Effects of Coaching on Pre-service Educators, and Measurement of Coaching Fidelity and Generalization of Outcomes) for pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade school settings.
