This study highlights how sociodemographic, mental, and urban factors play a significant role in the life satisfaction of Seoul citizens in South Korea by employing hierarchical linear regression. The study finds that first, most urban factors play a significant role in all life satisfaction categories, with at least six out of eight urban factors exert a significant impact. Second, depression, anxiety, and loneliness have a negative effect on all life satisfaction categories. Depression shows the highest negative impact on work satisfaction, followed by anxiety and loneliness. Third, age always exerts a negative effect on life satisfaction, whereas income, APT, and region show a positive impact. Fourth, the significance of some sociodemographic factors changes when mental and urban factors are entered in the models.
