The evolution of the internal friction under irradiation is measured over three orders of magnitude of the electron flux. The peaking effect is shown to be flux dependent at some temperatures. The results are explained qualitatively in terms of a model for the dislocation dynamics where a long-range dislocation-point defect interaction is included.
