Time-domain terahertz transmission and reflection spectroscopies are described and compared. New results obtained in SrBi2Ta2O9 ceramics and thin film are presented and discussed. A central-mode type dispersion was detected near 10 cm-1 which should be responsible for a strong dielectric anomaly at the ferroelectric phase transition.
