Low temperature specific heat of an itinerant electron ferromagnet Sc 3 In was measured in magnetic fields of 0, 5 and 10 kOe in the temperature range between 1.0 and 20.0 K. Experimental results on the magnetic field dependence of the specific heat is explained reasonably well by the self-consistently renormalized spin fluctuation theory, in which the effect of magnetic field was taken into account.
