In this paper, titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanorods were synthesized through a hydrothermal procedure. The effects of the prepared TiO2 nanorods arrangements on the gas sensing behaviors in the presence of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) gas at high temperatures are assessed. The electron microscopic studies and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) were used to study the morphology and structure of the prepared samples. It was observed that the TiO2 nanorods possess an average diameter of about 50 nm with a pure anatase crystalline phase. The gas sensing properties were enhanced by applying the dielectrophoresis (DEP) method and using a dimensional (1D) nanostructure. The prepared gas sensors were exposed to N2 and NO2 as carrier and target gases to assess the sensor’s properties. Gas sensing measurements were carried out at 450–550°C operating temperatures. The results showed that the sensor had good stability, repeatable performance, the highest responses, and proper response and recovery times.
