A method of treating r a diat ion problems in m agneto-ionic (anisotropic) m edia is presented. A " wave matrix" is defin ed , t he zeros of whose determin ant are the propagation constants of the ordinary and the extraordin ar y plane waves. A deriva tion of t he d yadic Green's func tion for the unbounded m edium is given , which is also bas d on t his matrix. A formul a is arrived at, which g ives t he powe r r adiated by any di stribution of a lter natin g current in terms of t he wave matrix and t he s patial Fouri er transforms of the currents. The m ethod is ill ustrated by a discussion of t he power radiated by an elem entary dipo le.
