A general method for investigating stability and oscillation of zero- beta magnetically confined plasma, which was developed in Part I, is applied to the multipole configuration. Simpler versions of the general theory are first introduced for each of three important frequency regimes. These are then used to determine the spectrum of oscillations of plasma in a multipole and to derive qualitatively, the full dispersion diagram. The oscillations include fluid instabilities and both positive and negative energy waves which may be stable or unstable due to resonant particle interaction.
