Upper and lower variational bounds on transport coefficients of a Fermi liquid in the presence of both particle-particle and impurity scattering are presented. For the thermal conductivity the bounds differ by less than 2%. Appreciable deviations from Matthiessen's rule in both the thermal and electrical resistivity are found. Application of the results to real metals is briefly discussed.
