The velocity of ocean currents at the Equator is not easy to compute by dynamic method because the Coriolis force vanishes there. In this computation, the velocity of the ocean currents at the Equator was computed taking into the account the pressure gradients, Coriolis forces, non-linear inertia terms and friction proportional to the velocity. Numerical result is given.Extension of the computation to higher latitudes and improvement of the result by successive approximation by considering the vertical flow will be given in later research.
