The completeKLLandKLMAuger electron spectra of argon have been recorded at high resolution. The satellite lines in theKLLspectrum have been investigated and relativistic multiconfigurational Dirac-Fock calculations have been made to suggest assignments for these structures. Investigations of the neonKLLspectrum are employed to interpret part of the shake-off satellites.
