SUMMARY The antifungal activity of a number of thiosemicarbazides was studies. The position and nature of substituents in thiosemicarbazide seem to be of great influence on growth‐inhibition. High activity was found for 1‐aryl substituted thiosemicarbazides, particularly derivatives, In systemic tests against cucumber scab, PTS and a number of its substitution products showed considerable activity.
