The electron edge radiation produced in the fringe field of a storage ring bending magnet is computed according to classical electrodynamics. The computation data show that the edge radiation in the long wave spectral range greatly exceeds in intensity the standard synchrotron radiation. Also the interference of the large radiation from two adjacent bending magnets is considered.
