Sudden death risk persists after ECT in critical aortic stenosis despite periprocedural control; this case leaves open procedural safety in valvular disease.
While hemodynamic responses to ECT in a patient with critical aortic stenosis can be managed with beta-blockers and vasodilators, the underlying valvular disease carries a high risk of sudden death.
