Electromagnetic fields produced by the spike pulse of hard radiation are discussed. The authors propose a model from which the electromagnetic field of a running pulse generated by a line current can be derived. The solution of the electrodynamic problem is found by the Smimov method of incomplete separation of variables by means of the Riemann method.
