Lead indium tantalate crystals PbIn0.5Ta0.5O3 (PIT) were annealed at high temperatures. X-ray investigation showed chages in degree of order in the In/Ta sublattice. With increasing degree of order the ϵmax temperature shifted towards higher temperatures.
