A new technique for three‐dimensional reconstruction from serial sections is described. The method implies transfer of drawings of histological sections to acryl plates and after gluing the plates together, a highly transparent block is produced, in which details can easily be examined. This technique can be characterized as quick, handy and non expensive. As a choice between the available methods is necessary in order to meet the special demands of the investigation in question, a short survey of the present methods is given.
