All-solid-state Z-scheme CdS/Co 9 S 8 -RGO heterostructures are synthesized by a facile one-pot hydrothermal method followed by annealing, which exhibit a H 2 evolution rate up to 4.82 mmol h −1 g −1 and a remarkable stability due to an efficient charge transfer and separation.
