Hairy‐rod‐like macro‐molecules are reported to useful materials in the fabrication of membranes. Cellulose alkylethers, cross‐linked through cinnamyl side groups (see Figure), are transferred onto a Celgard 2400 substrate using the Langmuir–Blodgett technique.
