Graphene oxide was reacted with amino phthalonitrile (APN) via amine–epoxy, OH–CN, epoxy–CN and amine–CN reactions, resulting in a diminished T g , reduced curing temperature of APN, and also a ductile matrix without penalty in thermal stability.
