Summary A further example of anti‐Lub has been found in the serum of a female patient suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and periarteritis nodosa. The antibody was detected after the patient had already had many blood transfusions; it did not cause any serious transfusion reactions. The sibship of which the patient is a member, and the family of one of her brothers, have provided further substantial evidence of the linkage between the Lutheran and Secretor genes in man.
