Superconducting properties of pure Ti and Ti- Mn alloys were investigated. It is found that for pure Ti the critical temperature (Tc) is 0.42 deg K and the critical magnetic field at 0 deg K is 58 gauss. It is shown that very small amounts Mn in Ti depress Tc, while larger amounts raise Tc. (C.E.S.)
