All articles of this category The reaction of the copper(I) derivative of dimethyl methanephosphonic ester with O -alkyl carbonochloridothioates affords O -alkyl (dimethoxyphosphinyl)-thioacetates. These compounds as well as the corresponding dithioesters react with aldehydes in a Horner-Emmons reaction to give O -alkyl 2-alkenethioates or alkyl 2-alkenedithioates, respectively.
