Completely fluoroscopy-free catheter ablation of premature ventricular contractions is feasible without using additional technology such as intracardiac or transoesophageal echocardiography.
Case Report (n=1)
Demonstrates the feasibility of performing catheter ablation for premature ventricular contractions completely without fluoroscopy or additional imaging technologies.
Catheter ablations of complex arrhythmias are commonly performed using an electroanatomic mapping system in combination with fluoro scopic guidance, resulting in exposure to ionising radiation for patients, physicians and staff in the electrophysiology laboratory. We present a case demonstrating that completely fluoroscopy-free catheter ablation is feasible without using additional technology such as periprocedural intracardiac or transoesophageal echocardiography.

Kühne et al. (2015) conducted a case report in Premature ventricular contractions (n=1). Fluoroscopy-free catheter ablation was evaluated on Feasibility of completely fluoroscopy-free catheter ablation without additional technology.
