Summary Ten species of Byssoascus, Myxotrichum and Pseudogymtioascus (Myxotrichaceae) and (Gymnascella (Gymnoascaceae) were tested for their ability to form ericoid mycorrhizas with axenically grown Vaccinium angmtifolium seedlings. Positive results were obtained with Myxotriclium setasmn and Gymnascella dankalienst's, both of which form Oidiodendron anamorphs and with PseudogypmoOSCUS roseus, a species with a Geomyces anamorph.
