The effect that oxygen dissolved at various pressures has on the photocatalytic oxidation of azo dyes on Fe 2 O 3 nanoparticles has been studied. It is shown that the reaction rate of the photocatalytic oxidation of azo dyes increases by a factor of 2.1 in the presence of oxygen dissolved under pressure, which is explained by the formation of active oxygen-containing particles during oxygen reduction.
