Genome sequencing study reveals the whole genome sequence in Neolamarckia macrophylla, highlighting resources for conservation and selective breeding.
Neolamarckia macrophylla (Roxb.) Bosser, belonging to the family Rubiaceae, is a fast-growing tree species native to Indonesia. Its wood has multiple uses, such as plywood production, furniture manufacturing, papermaking, and its bark is also used in traditional medicine. To support genetic conservation, breeding, evolution, and taxonomic studies, the whole genome of N. macrophylla was sequenced.
