The review considers the advances in the field of impregnation of polymers in supercritical media over the recent years. In particular, new approaches to the process of impregnation of polymers are described, and the possibility of application of new sub- and supercritical media for these purposes is demonstrated. Specific examples and conditions of these processes are presented, and new fields of application of the method are discussed.
