Analysis of broadband microstrip-slotline transitionswith multi-arm stubs

For a compromised design of microstrip-slotline transitions with multi-arm stubs, the relation between the number of arms and the bandwidth is necessary. This issue is examined using a modelling technique based on the equivalent circuit of the transition. The technique is used to analyse two broadband (1–10 GHz and 5–50 GHz) transitions with stubs having different number of arms.
