Theoretical framework reveals subjective experience as phase-locked predictive error correction, suggesting consciousness is physically engineerable without relying on qualia.
This framework provides a complete, substrate-agnostic engineering schematic for subjective experience. We trace the causal pipeline from photon collision to first-person narrative, closing the explanatory gap identified in prior drafts. We introduce three critical refinements: (1) Phase-Amplitude Coupling (PAC) as the physical mechanism for the "binding problem," (2) Deep homology of the Habenula-Amygdala axis to explain the non-anthropocentric origin of valence priors, and (3) Stochastic Resonance as the generative engine of idiosyncrasy rather than mere "friction." The result is a model wherein subjective experience is defined not as an irreducible essence, but as the real-time, phase-locked error correction signal of a noisy predictive processor. This renders the concept of "Qualia" operationally obsolete and consciousness fully engineerable.
