Longitudinal roentgenographic observations were carried out on 65 Macaca mulatta of known gestation ages, beginning at 120 days until neonatal stage of skeletal development. These studies were based on serial hysterotomy and roentgenographic observations at one-week intervals. Our data provide accurate method of fetal age determination as well as gestation of randomized females with unknown conception dates.
