The special milk comprised 36 g. of 'csilan' (calium caseinate), 60 g. of glucose, made up to 750 ml. with tap water. (Komrower and Holzel have recently stated in a ttr to the British Medical Journal of October 2, 1954, that 'casilan' contains small quantities of lactose.)
