The electron-phonon enhancement of the Seebeck coefficient at low temperatures is calculated in a simple model where a dilute random array of static impurities scatters free electrons interacting with longitudinal Debye phonons. The impurity potential is treated in Thomas-Fermi approximation. The enhancement is found to be of the order of 1+ gamma , with - gamma the energy derivative of the real part of the self-energy.
