All articles of this category 3-Hydroxy-2-methylenecycloalkanones 4 , 8 and 18 with 6-, 7-, and 9-membered rings, respectively, have been synthesized. In analogy to their acyclic counterparts, they were shown to enter into the dehydrative condensation, giving bisannulated 6,8-dioxabicyclo[3.2.1]octanes.
