A description is given of the finding of eggs of Neochanna apoda distributed above the waterline in an aquarium. Actual spawning has not been observed. but the probability of terrestrial deposition of eggs by the fish in its natural enrivonment is recognized, and the possible ways in which this may be accomplished are discussed.
