SYNOPSIS A list of fungi associated with Pinus spp. in the Transvaal, South Africa, was prepared from a search of accessions at the National Collection of Fungi, correspondence housed in the Forestry Branch's archives, items noted in the Forestry Branch's Annual Reports since 1885, published papers and unpublished survey data. The earliest report occurred in 1910. Subsequently 100 different fungi have been found in over 600 sightings from at least 20 different species of pine.
