The velocity of compressional waves (sound waves) has been measured in liquid hydrogen fluoride over the temperature range — 15–19°. Using values of density and the specific heat at constant pressure from the literature, values of the following thermodynamic properties have been calculated over the same temperature range: adiabatic compressibility, isothermal compressibility, volume coefficient of expansion, specific heat at constant volume, and the ratio of specific heats.
