Design fiction reveals software curation as a shared cognitive medium in collaborative development, suggesting new paradigms for human-AI partnership.
Continuing the vision of software design sketched in Petricek's earlier essay, these fictional minutes recount the visit of a committee of software engineers and designers to Atelier, a workshop in another dimension where software is not written: it is curated. On the other side of the portal, software is understood as a shared medium for thinking: behavior is the design material, domain theories are made visible and discussable, AI acts as a colleague that expands judgment rather than replacing it, and governance is a legible property of the medium itself. The essay uses this design fiction to ask not what tool we need, but what medium we need to think together. This record archives the LaTeX sources of the essay in its Spanish and English versions. The built PDFs are available from the GitHub releases of the repository.
