5,740 kg (1,897 samples) of fleshy fruits were harvested from 89 species of plants in 321 locations at various elevations in Guatemala, C.A., during 1979-84. Ceratitis capitata (Wied.) was recovered from 38, 5 species of Anastrepha from 37, Toxotrypana curvicauda from 1, and none from 46 plant species.
