O ,ω‐Unsaturated N ‐tosyl alkoxyamines undergo unexpected Rh III ‐catalyzed intramolecular cyclization by oxyamination to produce oxygen‐containing heterocycles. Mechanistic studies show that an aziridine intermediate seems to be responsible for the formation of the heterocycles, possibly via a Rh V species.
